A useful cannabis SOP template should match the work you need to document, the equipment you use and the people who will use it. Before choosing a PDF, check its scope, included records and file format. A document written for one press or workflow is not automatically suitable for another.
Start with the documentation gap
Be specific about what is missing. Do you need a procedure for one task, a record for each session, or a coordinated set of documents for a department? A focused SOP may be enough for a single workflow. A department pack can make sense when you need several connected procedures, but compare its contents with documents you already own.
For plant-related documentation, browse the Cultivation SOPs collection. For equipment-specific wash, freeze-dry and press documentation, start with Extraction & Solventless SOPs.
Match the document to your equipment and intended use
Sasquash V2 15-ton: personal-use documentation
The VAULT Sasquash V2 hobby SOP is written for the V2 15-ton hand-pump and gauge setup. Its 11-page illustrated guide includes three fillable record sheets, with the same three sheets supplied separately for reuse. The pages are US Letter format. This is a personal-use publication for adults where the activity is permitted.
Sasquash Yeti 55T: professional facility documentation
The VAULT Sasquash Yeti 55T SOP is a separate 20-page professional master with four fillable record pages. It is supplied in 3:4 portrait format and is intended for facility adaptation, training and controlled issue. Choose it for its stated equipment scope, rather than treating it as a larger version of the V2 hobby guide.
Osprey: wash and freeze-dry documentation
The VAULT Osprey SOP covers the wash and freeze-dry line. The 12-page A4 PDF includes ten SOP pages and two record sheets for monitoring and corrective-action follow-up. It supports a different equipment workflow from either Sasquash publication.
If your facility needs both professional masters, compare the Osprey and Yeti 55T department pack. Its two PDFs contain the same complete masters and included records described in the pack listing.
Understand what “fillable” means
A fillable PDF lets you enter information into designated fields. It does not necessarily let you rewrite the procedure, move the artwork or edit the document layout. An editable source document is a different deliverable and is included only when a listing or written agreement expressly says so.
Some VAULT PDFs contain static record sheets intended for printing; others have interactive fields. Check the individual listing. For interactive records, use a PDF app that supports forms, save a working copy, then close and reopen it to check that your entries have been retained.
Check five things before buying
- Scope: Does the document name your task, equipment and intended user?
- Contents: Which PDFs and record sheets are included, and are any separate files duplicates for convenience?
- Format: Is it A4, US Letter or another page size? Are its records static or fillable?
- Use: Does the licence cover the person or facility that will use it?
- Review: Who will check it against the actual equipment, site procedures and applicable requirements before issue?
Does a GMP or GACP reference mean certification?
No. VAULT documents are independent documentation frameworks. GMP and GACP references describe the documentation context; buying a template does not confer certification, regulatory approval, manufacturer endorsement or guaranteed audit acceptance. Site-specific review and approval remain necessary.
Choose the right starting point
Compare the exact files and scope in the current product listing before purchasing. Read Licensing & Use and Digital Delivery for the terms that apply. If you are unsure which document fits your needs, contact VAULT with your equipment model and the documentation gap you want to address.
